How to Add Waypoints in Mobile App

Waypoints are private markers you can add to the DIY Fly Fishing App. Only you can see them, so they’re a great way to create your own custom fishing map in true DIY fashion!

How to Add Waypoints In Mobile App

Step 1. Zoom to Area of Interest, Click Plus Button

Step 2. Tap Map and Hold (Long Press)

Step 3. Add Name, Description, Select Waypoint Type

You can also add Waypoints by entering the location’s latitude and longitude. This is helpful if you already have that information or a guidebook or map provides latitude and longitude for fishing access points.

Waypoint Types

A variety of waypoint types are available to help you organize your waypoints. Just pick the type that best matches the Waypoint you are entering.

Step 4. Tap New Waypoint to See Details

Step 5. Tap Collections to See Waypoints

You can see all your Waypoint by tapping the Collections tab, and then selecting Waypoints. You can also toggle between a list view or map view.

Step 5. Tap Map Icons to View Waypoints
