[Video] How to Tie a Squirrel and Herl Bugger

Tim Flager of Tightline Productions shows us how to tie a Squirrel and Herl Bugger, a cross of sorts between a Zonker and Wooly Bugger with some Peacock Herl thrown in for good measure.

Squirrel and Herl Bugger Material List

Hook: Dai-Riki #710 (3X-long nymph hook), size 8
Thread: Black, 6/0 or 140-denier
Body: Peacock herl, 3 or 4 strands
Tail: Olive pine-squirrel zonker strip
Hackle: Dyed-olive grizzly
Head: Tying thread
Adhesive: Head cement
