How to Tie an Instant Dropper Knot

Zach Matthews shows us a super speedy way to tie a Clinch Knot for purposes of a quick dropper. (For those not familiar, a “dropper” is a bit of tippet tied to the back of the first fly, allowing you to add a second fly to your line). For “hopper-dropper” fishing in the West, this is ideal, especially on a windy day. Brought to you by The Itinerant Angler.

Enjoy!
